Ming Garden is our all time favorite Chinese food place in Orlando. Their steamed pork dumplings are addictive, their egg custard tarts are so fresh and wonderful (sometimes they are sold out though! Thats how much they sell, do not be let down because there are so many other good treats like the steamed custard buns!) We always go there to order the dim sum- our favorite plates include the shrimp dumplings, pork dumplings, egg tarts, and the seafood siumai. Everything here is always served so fresh and quickly, and the servers are patient and welcoming. 10/10.

What on earth?! Why don’t more people visit this place? It’s so empty, and they open pretty long hours! Where are all the people? I swear, whenever I crave Chinese food, this is my go-to spot! I’ve never had sweet buns before, and both of them were absolutely delicious. They even got my sesame chicken spot on! Seriously, it was heavenly!

I recently visited Ming Garden for their Sunday AYCE dim sum promotion in April. Overall, I think it’s a great promotion with strong potential. First, the highlights: The food quality and freshness are easily five-star. The ingredients taste great, and the value during this limited-time promotion is excellent—especially for anyone who enjoys trying a variety of dim sum. A suggestion to improve the experience: We were seated closer to the front door, farther from the kitchen. By the time the steam cart reached our table, many popular dishes had already run out or there was very limited variety. We saw that some tables were able to take multiple portions of the same dish at once no matter the size’s group which made it harder for tables farther away to enjoy those items. A possible improvement: Limiting each table to one or two portions of the same dish at a time could help distribute food more evenly and allow more guests to enjoy a wider variety. Our experience: We waited about 15 minutes for few dish, and another 30 minutes for a few others that never made it to our table. After waiting 30 minutes without the steam cart returning, we decided to leave. In total, we had about 7

Ming Garden 3914 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32803 10/10 food, atmosphere, service, quality, price (sister location to Ming’s Bistro, formerly Peters Kitchen and Chuan Lu Garden) The lines were long around 1pm BUT the tables turned over quickly last Sunday! I went with a couple of die-hard dim sum lovers and one semi-introductory fan 😅 We luvvved all of it AND we were pleased with the quality and selection of dim sum. Fresh, hot and bulging with filling and flavour 😋 No notes! The staff was attentive, efficient and so very thankful to everyone who came out to this promotion. One tip: the sign still has the old business name of Chuan Lu Garden and on maps/google goes by Peters Kitchen and Ming Garden…use the address to find this place when using google or maps. This was our second time coming together to Peter’s Kitchen, and it confirmed why this place is always on our recommendation list. They’ve recently made noticeable improvements to the seating area, making the space more comfortable and welcoming—but honestly, even without that, the food alone would be reason enough to return. The menu delivers legit, authentic Chinese cuisine—no watered-down remakes, no shortcuts. This is food made for people who enjoy depth, texture, and real flavor. We ordered: • Dim sum • Fried rice • Fried shrimp balls • Eggplant stuffed with shrimp Every dish was exquisite, beautifully balanced, and full of character. And their spicy sauce deserves special mention—it’s bold, fragrant, and absolutely addictive.
